CARTHAGE. Second Punic War. Circa 220-215 BC. Dishekel (Bronze, 22 mm, 7.60 g, 12 h). Wreathed head of Tanit to left. Rev. Horse standing to right; behind, palm tree with two date clusters. MAA 85; SNG Copenhagen 353. The obverse a bit weak, otherwise, very fine.

From an old Swiss collection, privately acquired from F. Sternberg in the 1970s (with original ticket).
